The beginning to the end of Infant Mortality

By Nathan Payne

We live in a society in which you can take a video on your phone and send it to another phone in seconds; space travel is just around the corner, the internet is developing at the speed of light and things are been done that would have been thought impossible 15 years ago with the developments in technology.  With all this in mind why are the infant mortality rates in third world and developing countries still so high? Why are new born babies so susceptible to pneumonia? Why are they dyeing from preventable causes?
While some countries are enjoying excellent health care systems, a great lifestyle, safe countries free from war and steady incomes other countries struggle to prevent their new born babies from simple preventable deaths.

This is where we come in with our product the Inuheal. The aim of this product is to regulate the temperature of infants when they are most vulnerable and by regulating their temperature they stand a much higher chance of survival. No electricity is needed as many villages may not have access to such utilities but simply boiling water which then getting placed in to a capsule like creation made of synthetic PVC composite which works to regulate an infant’s core temperature at a level which will stop the major cause of infant mortality, pneumonia.

This product has the ability to bring the infant mortality rate down in many third world and developing countries, with a simple product design, cheap cost and easily packaged to get to where it needs to be the as effective as possible.

Watch this space as this is a very exciting product which could drastically help reduce a massive social problem that this world faces in infant mortality.
