Incuheal - Our Brand

By Nathan Payne

Every business has a brand regardless if they are in the profit or not for profit sector but what does the Incuheal brand promote and believe in.  Our main focus is reducing the infant mortality rate in third world and developing countries and all our business efforts are focused on this one goal, everything we do in one way or another aims to address this issue.

Our mission is to provide a simple and affordable solution to help fight infant deaths that can be simply prevented with our easy to use product. With this in mind what are some of words we hope for people to associate with our brand? Words such as driven, passionate, innovate and reliable are all words we aim to entrench in our brand and are words we hope that our stakeholders and the general public perceive as brand as. The social problem we are addressing is a massive problem worldwide especially in third world countries and we really hope to establish our brand in these regions so that it is trusted and recognised as a leader in its field. We hope that people will come to rely on Incuheal to assist them in protecting their infants at their most vulnerable with our product and that our customers  come to learn how important such a product is especially in countries that don’t have the state off the art facilities and hospitals nearby.

Our product is game changer to a massive social problem but a great product isn’t enough these days, it is essential to build up a very positive reputation and brand image to assist our product and instil confidence in our customers that Incuheal is a must have to protect their young, there for we will strive to build a very strong brand that people will come to know, trust and love.

  1. Given that sometimes in third world countries there can be cultural problems when new medical supplies came in, how important is it for you to try and get support from World Vision etc? Is this sometime you have looked into?

  2. I agree with Scott's comment on obtaining support from World Vision etc. but would go further to ask whether the support you are targeting is through other organisations, hospitals or even governments? I acknowledge that you are designing a LOW-COST infant warmer but with the strain already on these countries and both their health-care and the hospitals themselves, are the hospitals really going to spend money on this equipment?
Have you considered investing into obtaining government subsidies for your product to make it cheaper for hospitals and therefore more desirable which in turn could boost both your sales and helping your cause?

  3. I also agree with the comments above from both Scott and Rupert. I would like to go further in asking if you had the support of World Vision, what would you do with it? would you create campaigns to illustrate to your customers that you have the support of a global organisation? From a marketing perspective there is no doubt that World Vision would help Incuheal take leaps and bounds in the right direction of world wide awareness, as a partnership like that would aid in transferring all positive affiliations made with World Vision to Incuheal. I would love to hear your thoughts on how Incuheal could advantage from such partnerships.

From reading the blurb found on the top of the blog page, I can understand that your product is to design a substitute for the incubator. Does the incubator offer other issues other than that the high cost? A suggestion would be to provide more information on the need for a substitute product/service for the incubator. It would strengthen the need for your product and in turn strengthen the market demand and brand interaction.

    Kind Regards,
    Olivia

  4. Really appreciate your comments in relation to this matter and I share your views on partnerships and we see this as a key success factor for our social enterprise. We plan to form strategic partnerships with the likes of World Vision and the Red Cross in order to both promote and distribute our product because they have a much better idea were our product can be most effective. We will work very hard to establish such partnerships.

Our product differs from the Incubator not only on price but also in features as our design allows for a much more consistent and regulated tempreture and for a longer period of time to that of the Incubator. As it is water filled we will be putting in a small formula which consists of eucalyptus and other healing agents which will seep through to help fight off infections and germs off.

Hope this helps and once again thank you for your comments they are greatly appreciated.
